- FAQ - We find both our standard ½ day and standard full day trips are not only affordable but ideal for families and friends. Both packages specialise in King George whiting
One of our most frequently asked questions is which package will best suit me and what can we expect to catch Both these packages provide clients with a stress free fishing experience with the reward of a variety of fresh fish to take home for the evening meal.
Answer – Our standard ½ day and full day fishing charters are very popular and affordable. Both charter packages specialize in targeting King George whiting out from Adelaide. Apart from being fun to catch, whiting are South Australia’s most popular table fish and in turn, are one of the most expensive table fish available throughout Australia’s fish markets. Other fish species regularly captured include snook, garfish, squid, bluecrabs, herring, reef fish and snapper
- FAQ 2 - What's my best chance to catch a snapper?
Answer - Our full day offshore snapper trip is the way to go, as unlike our standard ½ day and full day standard packages where we mainly fish the local grounds, catching King George whiting and a mixture of seasonal species, our offshore trip is centred around snapper fishing. St Vincent Gulf is famous for some of the biggest snapper available in South Australia but success does require careful preparation and planning. Due to the extra distance offshore we travel, an early morning start is a prerequisite and favourable weather conditions a must. Like fishing in other locations of South Australia, trophy size snapper can never be guaranteed but we do everything possible to put the odds in your favour and as a result our success rate is high and envied by our competitors.
This year put yourself in the picture holding a big snapper.
